About Me

I believe many of us have felt the pain of not having told our stories and therefore, I started JustMyScribblings. Because there is so much to write about, so much to share, and so little time. JustMyScribblings is a mirror, reflecting my unplanned, random and spontaneous life.

Why do I Paint?

In the face of extreme physical challenges, I turned to my love for brushes and strokes on canvas. The act of painting released not just pigment but also the weight of physical discomfort and emotional burden with each stroke. The act of creation, of bringing something into existence that didn’t exist before, helped rebuild my life post-diagnosis. From the struggle to hold a brush, to the vibrant canvases that captured the strength regained, each artwork encapsulated a chapter of my healing journey. My tribulations have made me look at Art as a universal therapy, available to anyone seeking solace and expression. I believe, in the palette of possibilities, that art is the best language of healing, a canvas for renewal and restoration.I endeavour to write about my experiences in my blog and reach out to RA patients. Through the transformative power of art and the indomitable spirit of the human mind. I dream of helping others to survive and rise above physical and mental barriers and ultimately celebrate pain. I would like to conclude with two of my favourite quotes

My life did not go as planned- and that’s ok.

“Life’s under no obligation to give us what we expect. We take what we get and are thankful it’s no worse than it is.”

― Margaret Mitchell, Gone with the Wind
